E3 – Christmas comes late for gamers

Last year there was a big uproar over what many people took as the cancellation of E3. It wasn’t so much a cancellation as a downsizing, done for a few good reasons:

- E3 was incredibly expensive to put on

- it took a lot of time away from game developers, who’d have to put together demonstrations, instead of finishing games

- because of the size of it, many good games got lost in the crowd, ignored for Sony’s collection of beautiful asian women wearing PSPs and such

Anyway, looks like this year the normal May date’s been changed, but now’s the time to keep a weather eye on gametrailers.com, right now a few videos up worth checking are:

-Killzone

-Halo 3

-Assassin’s Creed

-Resident Evil 5

amongst others!
